I consider this portrait of my Granddaughter to be my 'masterpiece'.

I painted this from a photograph, using a method that involved no sketching, drawing, or cartooning, whatsoever.  I call this technique the progressive focus method.

I simply began with paint, working from reference photos.  It is a wonderful method.
