This picture was painted especially for a competition and I wanted it to stand out. It was entered in the Rodney District Art Awards in New Zealand.
The theme of the exhibition was 'celebrating the fruits of the vine' and it won a merit award. It sold on the opening night of the exhibition and also won the 'peoples choice' award!
I worked extra hard on this picture and consider it to be my best painting to date, so it has to be my Masterpiece !
